Technology
DualBeam PLUS Sonar
DualBeam PLUS? sonar has a narrowly focused center beam, surrounded by a second beam of 60º, expanding your coverage to an area equal to your depth - in 20 feet of water the wider beam covers an area 20 feet wide. The first beam is focused on the bottom, to show you structure, weeds and cover. The second beam is hunting for fish in the wide coverage area. You can use the beams independently, yet working together they give you a clearer picture of what's going on underneath the boat.
QuadraBeam Sonar
QuadraBeam? with side structure finding capability uses a DualBeam PLUS for downlookingcapability, combined with two 455kHz, 45º beams pointing down and to the sides, to form a 90º cone. Yet get huge, overlapping coverage with an excellent view of the bottom and structure. A precise center beam locates fish and detailed bottom structure, while two wide beam look to the left and right to cover an area TWICE your depth - in 20 feet of water, the wide beams cover an area 40 feet wide.
Wide Side Sonar
Wide Side® does what its name implies: it uses three sonar beams, one narrow 24º beam looking downward and two beams looking 160 feet directly to the left or right to scan an incredibly wide area for fish. This is an outstanding choice for river fishing, along banks, docks etc. You get a great look at what's there, without driving your boat into the shallows.
